Use PZERO in Cursor

Two ways in: hosted MCP (recommended), or Cursor's OpenAI-compatible HTTP settings. Same prepaid balance and same pzero_… key either way.

Fund first

You need a key and confirmed USDC balance before Cursor can spend. Pending credit is not spendable.

Connect via MCP

Paste the Cursor config, put your Bearer key in place, reload MCP, then ask the agent to call agent_me.

Paste into Cursor MCP settings, reload MCP, then ask your agent to call agent_me.

Image and video use the same key and the same prepaid balance.

Connect via the API

Skip MCP if you prefer Cursor custom models on the OpenAI-compatible HTTP path.

  1. Open Settings → Models

Turn on OpenAI API Key and paste your pzero_… key. Turn on Override OpenAI Base URL and set https://api.pzero.studio/v1. Both toggles must be on.

  2. Add a pzero/ model

Cursor rejects ids that match its built-ins. Add Custom Model as pzero/<model-id>, for example pzero/claude-opus-4-8. Use live text ids from GET /v1/models. Image and video models are not callable via chat. Cursor BYOK posts chat completions to this same /v1 base URL; no /cursor suffix.

  3. Select it in Agent

Pick a pzero/… model in Agent. Composer-branded models typically ignore a custom OpenAI key. Turn the OpenAI API Key toggle off when you want Cursor's native stack again (key and base URL stay saved).

Need the raw chat contract? See POST /v1/chat/completions.
